MLA CHETAN ANAND ASSAULTED AT PATNA AIIMS

PATNA----------------------A sensational incident has come to light at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Patna, where MLA Chetan Anand, who is the son of former MP and strongman Anand Mohan, was allegedly assaulted and held hostage for half an hour. The incident took place late Wednesday night, when Chetan Anand along with his supporters had reached the hospital to see a patient.

According to the report, he started a dispute with the security guards over the entry rules, which soon turned into abuse, assault and jostling. The situation worsened further when junior doctors and security personnel clashed with the MLA and his group, following which Chetan Anand was kept locked in a room for about 30 minutes. Both the parties have lodged complaints against each other at the Phulwarisharif police station. Chetan Anand's wife has also filed a formal complaint.

Patna City Superintendent of Police Bhanu Pratap confirmed that allegations of abuse, assault and misbehaviour have been levelled by both sides in the case. From one side, Dr Ayushi Singh has accused the MLA's group of misbehaving. The police is investigating and an FIR is being registered.

The incident has raised questions about the security arrangements and the behaviour of public representatives at Patna AIIMS. The case has come into the limelight as it is related to Anand Mohan's family, as Chetan's wife was also present during the incident.
