MISHRI LAL YADAV’S ASSEMBLY MEMBERSHIP WILL BE RESTORED

PATNA-----------------------------The assembly membership of Mishri Lal Yadav, who was a BJP MLA from Alinagar in Darbhanga, will be restored soon. During the last session of the Assembly, Mishri Lal Yadav met the Speaker of the Assembly Nandkishore Yadav after getting relief from the High Court.

His assembly membership was terminated after the two-year sentence from the MP-MLA Court. The Patna High Court, giving relief to Mishri Lal Yadav, quashed the decision of the lower court. After meeting the Assembly Speaker Nandkishore Yadav, Mishri Lal Yadav said that "The Honorable Patna High Court has quashed the decision of the civil court. In such a situation, today we have met the Speaker of the Assembly and informed him about that decision. Today my membership will be restored again."

Mishrilal Yadav also had a relationship with controversies. The lower court had sentenced Mishrilal Yadav to 2 years in a 2019 case. After this his assembly membership was canceled. When the Nitish government was getting the trust vote in 2024, his name also came in the headlines. However, he voted in favor of NDA.

Mishrilal Yadav won the assembly election from Alinagar seat of Darbhanga in 2020 on the ticket of Vikasheel Insaan Party. However, he later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Mishrilal Yadav started his political career by winning the Mukhiya election. Before being elected MLA from Ali Nagar, he also became a Legislative Councilor. In the 2025 elections, he is also staking his claim on the BJP symbol. He said that he is hopeful that the party will give him a chance again.
