ARA-------------------------Armed assailants shot a property dealer riding a bike in Bakharia village, under the Mufassil police station area of the district, on Wednesday afternoon. The injured property dealer was hit in the left hand by a bullet, leaving him seriously injured. He was taken to a private hospital in Babu Bazar in the city for treatment.
According to information, the injured is Vipin Kumar Singh, a 44-year-old property dealer and son of the late Rajnath Singh, a resident of Jhowan village in the Bihiya police station area. Vipin Kumar Singh stated that he was traveling from his village to Ara on a bike on Wednesday afternoon when he was shot near Bakharia village, leaving him seriously injured. However, the reason for the shooting and why remains unclear.
Mufassil police station in-charge Deepak Kumar stated that the injured person stated that he had been in a dispute with his own brothers, Harendra Singh and Vimlesh Singh, over a 1.5 bigha plot of land for some time. Brothers Vimlesh Singh and Harendra Singh are accused of shooting in the same dispute.
Dr. Vikas Singh, the surgeon treating the injured, stated that the bullet had pierced his left arm. The bullet fractured his arm bone. A slab has been placed to secure the blood supply. The patient's condition is currently stable.
