ARA--------------------------RJD leader and former MLA Bhai Dinesh staged a protest demanding justice after a farmer's two-acre paddy crop was burned in Rupabandh village, under the Jagdishpur block of Bhojpur district. He raised serious questions about the police's handling of the incident.

According to reports, two acres of paddy crop belonging to Dukhit Yadav, a resident of Rupabandh, which had been harvested from the field and brought to the barn, was set on fire by some unidentified individuals, allegedly drunk. Upon receiving information about this heartbreaking incident, RJD leader Bhai Dinesh immediately rushed to the scene and staged a protest in support of the victim's family.

Speaking at the protest site, Bhai Dinesh expressed deep anger at the functioning of the Jagdishpur police station. He alleged that instead of coming to the scene to investigate or console the victim, the Jagdishpur police called the family of the grieving Yadav to the police station, which is highly condemnable.

Bhai Dinesh specifically mentioned that while Constitution Day is being celebrated across the country on November 26th, this attitude of the Jagdishpur police on such a sacred occasion is tantamount to mocking the fundamental spirit of the Constitution and the rights of farmers. He said that the police should listen to the farmers' pain and ensure speedy justice, not further harass them.

Taking this incident and the alleged police indifference seriously, former MLA Bhai Dinesh has sent photographs and videos related to the incident to the Bhojpur Superintendent of Police, demanding immediate action. He said that if prompt and appropriate action is not taken in this matter, the farmers will be forced to launch a fierce agitation for justice.

Dozens of local residents and farmers, including Anoj Kumar, Ajay Yadav, Bigan Singh, Vikas Singh, Santosh Kumar, Golu Kumar, Matjharon Devi, and Sunaina Devi, attended the protest, reiterating their solidarity with the victim's family and their demand for justice.
