PATNA---------------------------Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has once again made a significant statement regarding the liquor ban, which has raised the political temperature. Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that the liquor ban is a good thing. It benefits society. There are some inconsistencies in the implementation of the liquor ban, and that is why, at my suggestion, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed the liquor ban for the third time. The president of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that today, containers carrying millions of liters of liquor are being smuggled, but the smugglers are not being caught. On the other hand, when a laborer drinks 50 grams or 100 grams of liquor to relieve fatigue, they are subjected to a breathalyzer test and sent to jail. This is not right. It is not right to send poor laborers to jail for violating the liquor ban. If someone is carrying liquor as medicine for their wife, they should not be arrested. Manjhi also commented on which type of liquor is good, saying that previously, Mahua liquor was beneficial. Many things were added to it.
