BUXAR---------------------------Following the incident of gang rape of a minor, police have arrested the main accused. The incident occurred in the Bochahan police station area of ​​Muzaffarpur district. Based on the written complaint filed by the victim's father, police have registered a case against four youths.

The main accused, Jitendra Ram, a resident of Baghakhal village in the Gaighat police station area, has been arrested, while three other accused remain at large.

The victim's father stated that three days ago, his daughter had gone to the toilet behind the house when some youths on a bike abducted her and gang-raped her. When the girl did not return home, the family began searching for her and learned of the incident.

However, the arrested main accused, Jitendra Ram, told a different story during police interrogation. He claims that he met the victim on Instagram and that they were in a love relationship. Three days ago, the victim herself arrived at his camp at 1 a.m., from where they both went to his home. In the morning, when he went to drop the victim home, his sister-in-law saw them together and locked the house. When an uproar ensued, the victim told her family what had happened. Following the villagers' initiative, the family went to the police station and filed a written complaint.
