-Despite the strictness of the police and the prohibition department in Bihar, liquor smugglers are not giving up. Once again, Bhojpur police has taken a big action and seized liquor worth about Rs 16 lakh. During this, the police has also arrested two people. In the case, Bhojpur prohibition told that Assistant Commissioner of Prohibition Rajneesh had received information about a large quantity of liquor being taken to Patna from Uttar Pradesh. Based on the information, a thorough search of vehicles was started on the Buxar Patna Highway near Bampali turn under Gajrajganj police station area.

During the investigation of a truck, about 1471.92 liters of liquor and beer of various brands were recovered from it. Truck driver Sunil Kumar, resident of Maner and co-driver Vikku Kumar, resident of Hardi Chapra of Akilpur police station area of Patna, have been arrested. The prohibition department team sent both of them to judicial custody while the liquor along with the truck was seized. It is being told that the value of the seized liquor is about Rs 16 lakh.
