LABOURER ELECTROCUTED TO DEATH, ROAD BLOCKED
A laborer died on the spot due to electric shock late Sunday evening in Panwari Mathiya village of Sikarhta police station area of Bhojpur district. On the other hand, the anger of the local villagers flared up after the incident. The angry villagers blocked the road by placing the body at Mopati Bazaar Mela turn demanding compensation, due to which the movement of vehicles remained halted for about an hour.

ARA---------------------------A laborer died on the spot due to electric shock late Sunday evening in Panwari Mathiya village of Sikarhta police station area of Bhojpur district. On the other hand, the anger of the local villagers flared up after the incident. The angry villagers blocked the road by placing the body at Mopati Bazaar Mela turn demanding compensation, due to which the movement of vehicles remained halted for about an hour.
On receiving the information, Sikarhta police station in-charge and Tarari MLA Vishal Prashant reached there and got the jam removed by convincing the people. MLA Vishal Prashant gave a donation of ten thousand rupees from his side to the dependent of the deceased. The police took the body into custody and got the post-mortem done in Sadar Hospital.
According to the information, the deceased is Sunil Giri, 32-year-old son of Girja Giri, resident of Panwari Mathiya village of Sikarhta police station area. He was a labourer by profession. After the incident, there is chaos in the house of the deceased. His wife Rinki Devi and all the family members are crying inconsolably.
