Shedding light on the history of Human Rights Day, he said that it was formally established in 1950 by the United Nations General Assembly. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was adopted on December 10, 1948, with the aim of protecting human dignity globally and preventing the recurrence of atrocities.
