PATNA---------------------------Jan Suraj National President Uday Singh reacted to the election results, saying, "We congratulate the NDA on its victory. The election was held on our issues. Jan Suraj will continue to work towards its objectives, and even though we are not in the Assembly, we will play the role of a strong opposition."

Jan Suraj Party National President Uday Singh and State President Manoj Bharti held an important press conference today at Sheikhpura House on Bailey Road. They gave their reactions to the Bihar Assembly election results.

National President Uday Singh first congratulated the NDA on its victory in the Bihar Assembly elections and extended his best wishes to the new government. He also stated that our demand from the new government in Bihar is that a clean government be formed, with no tainted ministers. The Prime Minister and the Chief Minister themselves have addressed our issues. Therefore, we will continue to monitor how much work is done on those issues.

He further stated that the determination with which Jan Suraj was founded and the objective of change will continue. We will continue to expose the government's shortcomings. Even when the Grand Alliance had power earlier, they were not properly fulfilling the role of the opposition. Although we will not be in the Assembly, the people of Bihar will now see Jan Suraj as a strong opposition.

Regarding Jan Suraj's performance in the Bihar Assembly elections, he said, "We are disappointed but not disheartened. One of the main reasons for the lack of expected votes seems to be that at the last moment, people felt that a vote for Jan Suraj might help the RJD return to power, so they shifted their votes to the NDA."

Uday Singh accused the Bihar government of buying the NDA's overwhelming majority. Such attempts have been made in the country before. But this is the first time that the state government has spent nearly 40,000 crore rupees to achieve this majority. People's votes have been bought with public money. Now, the Bihar government does not have enough money to spend on essential things like education, employment, and health. They have even spent 14,000 crore rupees from the World Bank loan for this cash transfer.

In response to a question, he also said that when Prashant Kishore ji had said that JDU would not get 25 seats, the circumstances were different. But after that, when the government opened its coffers and started buying votes, everything changed. Then it was inevitable that their seats would increase.

State President Manoj Bharti, while addressing all the workers of Jan Suraj across the state through the media, said that we will make a comeback again. We will meet all our workers as before and inspire them.

Senior party leaders Subhash Singh Kushwaha, Sarwar Ali and state media in-charge Obaidur Rahman were also present during this time.
