BHABHUA---------------------------A very tragic incident has come to light from Chor Lohar village under the Chainpur police station area of ​​Bhabua (Kaimur). A young woman, Jyoti Kumari, said to be the daughter of Mahendra Bind, tragically lost her life amid tensions over a love affair. According to reports, Jyoti Kumari had been in a relationship with a young man named Badaun Bind for the past one and a half years. This relationship had been a constant source of tension between the two families.

As tensions escalated, a panchayat was held, with both parties called together in the presence of the Sarpanch of Nandgaon Panchayat and the Sarpanch of Udayrampur Panchayat. It is reported that during the discussion, the atmosphere became tense and the young man suddenly left the Panchayat, after which the meeting was adjourned.

Desperate by the Panchayat's failure and the pressure on her relationship, Jyoti Kumari became mentally distressed. She then left her home and went to a garden near the Goraiya Baba Temple in the nearby Gangudih village, where she took the extreme step. Seeing her condition, villagers immediately informed the Chainpur police station.

Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and, after completing the necessary legal procedures, sent the body to Bhabua for a postmortem. After the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family.

Chainpur police say that the case is being investigated from several angles. Officials have made it clear that strict action will be taken against anyone found responsible for this tragic incident. An atmosphere of grief and anger currently prevails in the village, while the family is in shock.
