ARA------------------------------The ceremony of the newly appointed officers of the Rotary Club of Ara for the year 2025-2026 was organized at the local hotel Ara Grand. The chief guests of today's program were Rotarian Namrata, District Governor and Rotarian Manoj Kumar Singh Assistant District Governor from Patna. First of all, the program started with the national anthem, after which the chief guest lit the lamp. The former officials of the Rotary Club of Ara welcomed the chief guests Rotarian Namrata District Governor and Rotarian Manoj Kumar Singh Assistant District Governor from Patna by giving them flower bouquets. The account of the activities of the past year was presented by the Secretary of the past year, Rotarian Nishikant. On this occasion, the outgoing President Shri Ram Kumar Singh thanked all the members for the successful discharge of all the programs of the past year. While introducing the new members of the current session, Rotarian Manjeet Anand was made the club president, Rotarian Neeraj Kumar was made the club secretary and Rotarian Akhilesh Prasad was made the club treasurer. In his address, the newly appointed President Rotarian Manjeet Anand expressed his gratitude to the club members and said that the trust you all have placed in me and entrusted me with the responsibility of the current session, I will try to discharge it with full devotion and responsibility. At present, our priority will be to form some new clubs, contribute to world peace and pay special attention to the protection of the environment. I not only hope but have full faith that I will also get the support and cooperation of all of you like before. On this occasion, it was just told that Rotarian Sanjeev Gupta and Rotarian Pankaj Prabhakar, Shri Ram Kumar Singh and Shri Awadhesh Pandey have been made the Chairman of Bihar and Orissa and have been entrusted with the responsibility of the development of the club. In her address at today's program, Ro Namrata District Governor praised all the activities of Rotary Club and said that the members of this club are playing an important role in the development of the society by playing an active role in the programs, which is very praiseworthy. On her visit to Ara and before the swearing-in ceremony, District Governor Namrata also inspected the programs being run by Rotary Club of Ara. First of all, she inspected Adarsh ​​Madhya Vidyalaya Nawada, adopted by Dr. S.M. Isa in her session, and praised the arrangements there. After that, she went to Jagriti Center Station Road Ara, where she saw the training programs of sewing, computer course, and beautician course run by Rotary Club of Ara. District Governor Namrata called it an important step towards women empowerment. She also said that it is a big thing to increase self-reliance among women through these programs and motivate them for self-employment. He also assured to provide support for installing sanitary napkin machines for girls in the school. He did this after forming a club in the school so that children become aware of social responsibility and a sense of service is awakened in them. To make the city plastic free, he talked about making bags from paper and stressed on increasing awareness about it, this will also increase the possibility of employment.

In today's program, eminent personalities and senior Rotarian members who have discharged social responsibility were also honored. Today's entire program was conducted by Rotarian Awadhesh Pandey and Rotarian Nishikant. The guests were welcomed by Rotarian Pankaj Prabhakar and the vote of thanks was given by Rotarian Akhilesh Prasad, Treasurer of the current session.

On this occasion, in the dignified presence of Rotarian Dr. S.M. Isa, Rotarian Dr. Jivesh Kumar, Rotarian Rameshwar Prasad, among the members of the club, the participation of all other members was also commendable.
