INAUGURATION OF COARSE GRAIN PROCESSING UNIT BUILT WITH THE SUPPORT OF NABARD

ARA----------------------------The coarse grain processing unit established with the support of NABARD on Sakkadi Pachhaina Road was jointly inaugurated by Mrs. Madhu Kumari, General Manager, District Industries Center and Mr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha, District Development Manager, NABARD Bhojpur. On this occasion, Mr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha, District Development Manager informed that under the Agriculture Sector Promotion Fund of NABARD, a cluster has been developed on the entire value chain of coarse grain in Koilwar block, in which 100 farmers are currently involved. In this sequence, a coarse grain processing unit is being established with the financial support of NABARD. Which will be operated by the farmer group of the cluster. Initially, millet and ragi flour will be produced from this unit and will be put up for sale in the market under the name of Bhojpur Shri Ann. In future, Shri Ann based bakery products will also be made. Due to the health related properties of Shri Ann, its demand has increased in the market. This will increase the income of the farmers of the cluster to a reasonable extent.

General Manager, District Industries Center, in his address praised the important role of NABARD in the development of agriculture and rural areas of the district and advised to run more such programs in the district. He informed the farmers present about various government schemes in the food processing sector and asked them to take maximum benefit from it. He discussed in detail with the farmers present about the benefits of working as an organization. He expressed happiness over the results generated by better coordination between NABARD, Agriculture Department and Krishi Vigyan Kendra in this program.

Dr. P.K. Dwivedi, Agricultural Scientist, Dr. Sachchidanand, scientist of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dr. Anil also expressed their views in the program. Bhaiya Ajit sang the welcome song. The program was presided over by the head of the Panchayat, Vinay Pratap Singh. The program was conducted by Shri Ramnath Thakur, Secretary of Antyodaya Chetna Mandal. Bhola Singh gave the vote of thanks. On this occasion Bhola Singh, Arun Singh, Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary, Shailendra Pratap Singh, Avinash Kumar Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Manoj Singh, Ravish Ranjan, Pramod Kumar Singh, Dhruvnath Singh, Ashok Singh, Manoj Singh, Utsav Raj, Dharmendra Singh, Akhilesh Singh, Dheeraj Kumar Singh, Bachcha Ram etc were present.
