ARA-------------------------Just hours before the first phase of voting in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Tejashwi Yadav, the Chief Ministerial face of the Grand Alliance, has made several major announcements to woo voters. He has made several significant announcements for Bihar's women, youth, police, and government employees.

Tejashwi Yadav made significant announcements on the last day of the first phase of campaigning. Tejashwi Yadav announced that if the Grand Alliance forms the government in Bihar, ₹30,000 per year will be transferred to the accounts of women in the state under the Mai-Behin Yojana on January 14, 2026, the day of Makar Sankranti.

In addition, Tejashwi Yadav has announced that all Jeevika Didis and other Didis will be given permanent jobs and their honorarium will be increased to ₹30,000. They will also be given an insurance cover of Rs 2,000 per month and Rs 5 lakh.

Tejaswi Yadav has also made several promises for government employees, saying that if his government is formed, the Old Pension Scheme will be implemented. Police personnel and government employees will be transferred within 70 kilometers of their home district.

He has also made a big promise for farmers, saying that a bonus of Rs 300 more than the MSP for paddy and Rs 400 more than the MSP for wheat will be given. Farmers will also be provided free electricity.
