Bhim Pasi, a resident of Chainpur market, alleges that some local butchers brutally killed and sold a bull left by him in the name of Lord Shankar. The victim has lodged a complaint in the police station in this regard, but he alleges that no action has been taken so far. According to the information given by the victim Bhim Pasi--
He had released a bull in the name of Lord Shankar with full devotion and religious faith. Bhim Pasi clearly said that Gulgula, Budhu and another youth, sons of Mangaru butcher, together caught that bull from near his house and took it away with the intention of slaughtering it. Hurt by this incident, Bhim Pasi lodged a named complaint against the accused in the Chainpur police station. However, Bhim Pasi says that despite the complaint, no effective action has been taken by the police in this case, nor has any inquiry been made from the accused. The victim is disappointed with the inaction of the police. When the police station in-charge was talked to in this regard, he told that a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim and further action is underway.
The court gave 14 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 150000 to the ganja trader. Kaimur-- The court of District Additional Sessions Judge located at Civil Court Bhabua has sentenced Jodha Bind, son of late Dhari Bind, resident of Patloiya under Bhagwanpur police station, to 14 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of one lakh fifty thousand rupees in the case of illegal ganja trade. In case of not paying the fine, he will have to undergo an additional imprisonment of six months. Special Public Prosecutor of NDPS Mithilesh Kumar Singh told that on 22 January 2023, during checking in the evening, when two persons riding a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle were stopped by the Chainpur police station administration near Rupa Patti canal bridge, both the persons turned the motorcycle and tried to run away. One of them managed to escape with a motorcycle taking advantage of darkness, while the other person was caught, from whom 43 kg of ganja was recovered. On demanding valid documents, he did not tell anything. On asking for name and address, the accused told his name as Jodhabind, whose FIR was lodged by SI Amarendra Kumar in Chainpur police station case number 20 of 2023. During the trial, the court of ADJ 2 Ajit Kumar Mishra Civil Court Bhabua Kaimur found Jodha Bind guilty and awarded the above punishment.
