ARA---------------------------Under the Chief Minister's Girl Child Cancer Immunization Scheme, HPV vaccination is being conducted across Bihar under the supervision of the Bihar State Health Committee. In this series, the Health Department, Bhojpur, under the direction of the Block Medical Officer, conducted free HPV vaccination, hemoglobin testing, and health checkups for girls aged nine to fourteen at DBM Heritage Academy, Ramapur, Sanadia. Inaugurating the program by lighting a lamp, Block Health Manager Dr. Indra Vijay Singh stated that the purpose of this vaccination is to protect girls from cervical cancer. The Bihar government is making significant efforts to protect girls' health. Parents should step forward to have their daughters vaccinated. On this occasion, the hemoglobin levels of all the girls in the school were also tested. During the testing, it was found that most girls had significantly lower hemoglobin levels than the recommended level. Medical Officer Dr. Anamika Kumari provided information on how to increase hemoglobin and hygiene to the girls. He said that this vaccine is completely safe for girls. On this occasion CHO Sonali Murmu said that due to lack of information, people of rural areas are not able to avail the benefits of government health schemes. Leading and presiding over the programme, school principal Bhaskar Mishra expressed his gratitude to the health department team and said that this will significantly improve the health of the girls of the school. He appealed to the girls to stay away from fast food and consume coarse grains as much as possible. WHO representative Pramod Kumar Singh said that the health department, Bihar government makes excellent quality vaccine available so that no problem arises in the future. In making the vaccination program successful, Kamlesh Prajapati, Pharmacist, Medhavi Kirti, ANM, Annapurna Kumari ANM, Arpana Sinha ANM, Deepak Kumar DEO from the Health Department and Meenu Singh, Mausam Devi, Kalavati Devi, Lalita Devi, Reena Devi, Dadul Shah, Ali Hasan, Vikas Kumar, Priyanshu Kumar etc. from the school family played a commendable and important role.
