HOMEGUARD JAWAN’S SON COMMITS SUICIDE

ARA------------------------A heart-wrenching incident came to light on Wednesday afternoon in Godhna Road locality of Nawada police station area of the city. Mohit Raj, 15-year-old son of female homeguard jawan Chandni Kumari posted in Ara Collectorate, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself. He was brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment, but he died on the way. There is chaos in the family after the incident.

According to the information, Mohit Raj was the only son of Santosh Kumar Sharma, a resident of Godhna Road. His mother Chandni Kumari works as a homeguard jawan in the Collectorate. According to sources, Mohit had called someone from his mobile on Wednesday afternoon. During the conversation, there was an argument between the two, after which Mohit said on the phone, "I will die." After this, he went to the roof of the house and committed suicide by hanging himself.

The deceased's father Santosh Kumar Sharma gave a written application to Nawada police station and told that his son was lying unconscious in the house. He was taken to Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. According to the police, the family took the body home without conducting a post-mortem. Police say that the exact cause of death would have been clear only after the post-mortem.

Mohit was the only brother of his two sisters. Mother Chandni Kumari, father Santosh Kumar and both the sisters are inconsolable due to this incident. People around are also shocked by this incident. Police have started investigating the matter.
