BHABHUA----------------------Even after two years the picture of development has not changed, people are forced to live in filth and garbage. Pramod Kumar, Kaimur. Bihar government spent crores of rupees to give Hata the status of Nagar Panchayat, so that the village can get development like an urban area. But the reality is that even today Hata market looks the same as before, only the name has been changed to “Nagar Panchayat Hata”, but development is not visible anywhere. Two years have passed since the status of Nagar Panchayat was given. During this time many schemes were passed, crores of rupees were also spent, but most of the work remained limited to papers. No major change was seen on the ground. Hata Bazaar, which is the main center of dozens of nearby villages and where thousands of people come and go every day, is still deprived of basic facilities. Till date not even a single public toilet has been built here, due to which men and women face a lot of trouble. There are heaps of garbage in every street, dustbins are broken at many places. It seems as if there has been no cleaning for months. The drainage system is also missing in many places, due to which waterlogging persists.
Local Ravi Sharma says that some development has taken place in Hata, but a lot of development is still pending. No work has been done in Shakti Katra Gali till date. The drain is also broken in many places, which causes a lot of trouble. PCC has not been laid till date. The dustbin is also broken, there is no garbage lifting, nor is there any cleanliness. We have not got the facilities that we should get in the Nagar Panchayat till date. Ramesh Jaiswal, who is the Chairman, was elected for development, but today he is not ready to listen. Today Hata market is shedding tears over its plight, but the officials and public representatives are not ready to listen.
The same executive officer Shivam Singh says that many developments like water and cleanliness have taken place. The Nagar Panchayat has just been newly formed, a lot of development is still needed. Many schemes have been sent. Let us tell you that today when you enter Hata Nagar Panchayat, you will not see any change whether it is the old Hata market or the Nagar Panchayat. The reason is that the cleanliness officer, the executive officer never visit Hata market. They just spend time sitting in the office. You will not find the name or number of the officer anywhere in the office. With whom the public can directly contact.
Now we have to see when the amount spent on the Nagar Panchayat and the schemes are checked, when the facilities available in the Nagar Panchayat reach the public? When will the Nagar Panchayat see its days of development?
