PATNA----------------------The murder of gangster Chandan Mishra in Patna's Paras Hospital has created a sensation in the capital's crime world. But amid this sensation, a viral video—in which Chandan is seen walking on the roof with the song "Pyaar se samjhavatani, samjha jaiye nahi to rail diya jayega" playing in the background—has given it a new twist.

This video is rapidly going viral on social media, and with it many questions have also arisen.

Chandan had fistula disease. It is clearly visible in the video that he is uncomfortable in walking. He is walking on the roof of the house, where some of his companions are also present.

It is believed that this video was made without the knowledge of Chandan himself, but it was also uploaded on his Facebook and Instagram pages.

Chandan, who was in jail for the last 12 years, had got 15 days parole from the court. This opportunity was like breathing in the open air for him, but this openness became a danger for him.

After coming out on parole, Chandan got videos shot at many places including Patna AIIMS, his home and Paras Hospital. In one video, he is seen strolling outside AIIMS in a red T-shirt.

These reels included not just Chandan but also his close ones. Some videos showed him partying, some showed his threatening style and others his heroism…all this combined to create a new image on social media.

But this very image proved fatal for him. According to police sources, these viral reels and photos were constantly making his location public, which kept rival groups informed of his every move.

Experts believe that in the world of gang wars, keeping a 'low profile' is the only protection, but Chandan's close ones, perhaps unknowingly, kept exposing him on social media again and again. His growing digital presence gave his opponents an opportunity to target him.

Chandan Mishra's name first hit the headlines in the early 2000s. He committed his first murder in 2007. He had become a rising face in the criminal world of Bihar, especially Buxar, especially in cases of murder, extortion, contract killing and land grabbing. He was in jail after his arrest in 2012, but his network continued to operate from within the jail.

A big question also arises that when Chandan was given parole with police protection, how did he keep making videos so comfortably?

Was it due to negligence on the part of the policemen engaged in security or was it deliberate leniency?

Chandan's death is a warning - not only for criminals, but also for their supporters and those who use social media as a weapon. In the world of crime, publicity often plays the role of death. A reel like 'Rail diya jayega' may have been made for entertainment, but now it has become an important link in the story of murder, which even his friends were accepting with regret.
