GRAND BHANDARA AT BADI MATHIA TEMPLE PREMISES

ARA----------------------------A grand Bhandara was organized on the occasion of the Chhathi festival of Shri Krishna in the famous and hundreds of years old Badi Mathiya temple of Ara city. During this, about 4 thousand devotees took the prasad. A crowd of devotees gathered in the temple premises from 7 pm to 12 pm for the Bhandara. Mahant Ram Kinkar Das and Mahant Ayodhyanath Das Ji Maharaj told in Badi Mathiya that a program of worship and aarti was held at 6 pm on Saturday evening. After this, a grand Bhandara was organized. In the Bhandara, devotees were fed rice, dal, badi, vegetable, dahi bada, papad etc. Prasad. During this, all the devotees sat in a row and took the prasad of Chhathi festival.

During the grand Bhandara, packets of Prasad were also distributed among the people coming from far-flung areas of the city. In the temple premises, prasad of halwa made from gram flour, semolina, dry fruits and pure ghee was prepared. Thereafter, it was distributed among the local shopkeepers and devotees.
