BHABHUA-----------------------For many decades, the campaign of planting trees has been going on, which has been named Janjeevan Hariyali in the current Nitish government, which is an important scheme for human life. This important scheme to protect the earth's environment and human life has fallen prey to corruption today. From the time of Congress till now, money has been wasted like water by the government in the schemes being run by the government, but till date no one has been able to take the responsibility of looking after this scheme on his shoulders, nor has there been any improvement in it. During the tenure of the current government, the scheme was also run through the Panchayat, in which hand pumps were provided for irrigation of the trees by the protectors of the trees, but 95% of the trees are not visible on the ground. If some trees came in their form by the general public, they were cut down. And the protector, the Panchayat representative Gram Sevak, was also aware of this, but no one took the responsibility of protecting it, nor did anyone try to register an FIR against such people. In the construction of national highways and regional highways, all the trees that were present on the road were cut down by the government contractors, but trees were not planted anywhere. As a result, today the national highways or rural roads appear treeless. At some places, money was also withdrawn through the Panchayat, but tree plantation could not be done on the ground. Every year, a conference is held in the World Environment Conference to save every living being, but it remained only a declaration on paper and a show-off. The responsibility of the work done by the government in public interest should be on the shoulders of the person through whom it is being done, but the government did not consider it appropriate, as a result of which every scheme run by the government is becoming ineffective and falls prey to corruption.
