GOPASHTAMI CELEBRATED AT GAUSHALA IN ARA
The 130th Gopashtami festival was celebrated with great pomp on Wednesday at the Shri Ara Gaushala located at Gausganj Satpahari in Ara city. During the festival, the Gayatri Parivar performed a Panchkundiya Gayatri Yagya, puja, and havan. Matadin Agarwal and Kamal Beria jointly performed the puja. Speakers on the occasion stated that cow service is the greatest service. Cow service is a duty of humanity. Everyone should contribute to the cow shelter.

Regarding the success of the Gaushala festival, Shri Ara Gaushala Secretary Alok Bediya said that the Gaushala has a glorious history. Established in 1896, Gopashtami is celebrated every year at the Gaushala. For the past three years, it has been transformed into a grand festival, with thousands of people from across the district, including Ara, participating in the event.
Secretary Alok Beria, Vice President Matadin Agarwal, Joint Secretary Sachin Jalan, Treasurer Sanjay Jalan, Co-Treasurer Harshit Vijay Jain, Shri Ramnavmi Shobha Yatra General Secretary Shambhu Chaurasia, Principal of Sambhavna School Dr. Archana Singh, Journalist Krishna Kumar, Mukesh Poddar, Krishna Poddar, Manoj Khemani, Vishnu Parshuram Puria, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Amit Kesari, Alok Anjan, Lokesh Kumar Haldia, Ranjan Beria, Ajay Jalan, Sanjay Kanodia, Badal Jalan, Yash Beria, Aditya Beria, Madhav Beria, Mohit Jalan etc. were the workers who made the program successful. The program concluded with Mahaprasad grazing.
Tula Daan was the center of attraction in the Gopashtami festival at Shriara Gaushala, in which about two dozen people donated fodder for the cows according to their weight. Apart from this, hundreds of people contributed money to the Gaushala.
