ARA------------------------Passengers are now expected to get relief from overcrowding and chaos at Ara railway station, which is called the lifeline of Bhojpur district. As per the decision taken recently by the railway administration, the goods warehouse located at the station will be removed and shifted to some other place. Along with this, the platforms will also be extended, which will lead to unprecedented improvement in passenger facilities.

At present, passengers face a lot of trouble due to the reduced length and width of the platform at this station, which has a daily footfall of thousands of passengers. Despite the trains arriving and departing on time, there are difficulties in boarding and deboarding due to the crowd of passengers. At the same time, the traffic system has also been affected due to the goods warehouse located in the main area of the station.

The removal of the goods warehouse will pave the way for platform expansion, which will provide the facility to park more trains at the station simultaneously. Apart from this, basic facilities like passenger waiting room, toilet, drinking water, cleanliness and security will also be upgraded. According to railway officials, work on this project will start soon and it is being considered a big step towards modernizing Ara station. Local public representatives and social organizations have also welcomed this decision and called it a big achievement for the people of Ara. This change will not only improve railway services but will also prove to be helpful in the development of Ara city.
