PATNA------------------------There has been a lot of uproar in Patna, the capital of Bihar. A sub-inspector has also been beaten up. Actually, a horrific incident happened today in Kanya Madhya Vidyalaya located in Amla Tola of Gardanibagh police station area of Patna, where a fifth class student set herself on fire in the school bathroom.
In a hurry, the police of Gardanibagh police station reached the spot. After this, the girl was admitted to PMCH. She died during treatment. Patna City SP Central Diksha also reached the spot. Along with this, the FSL team was also called. Evidence was collected from the spot.
The girl's burnt clothes were found near the bathroom. There is a lot of anger among the people about the incident. Patna City SP (Central) Diksha said that she is a fifth class student. CCTV footage is being retrieved.
"Today, information was received that a girl student (12-13 years) set herself on fire in a school under Gardanibagh police station. After this, when the police reached the spot, they saw that the girl was breathing. She was immediately admitted to the hospital.''- Diksha, City SP Central, Patna
Diksha said that this incident is being taken very seriously and investigation is being done to find out how this happened. Is anyone involved in this? CCTV footage is being scanned. FIR has been registered. Contact has also been established with the victim's family.

The police say that so far no evidence of the presence of any other person in the bathroom has been found. Local people allege that the security system of the school is lax and drug activities are also going on, regarding which questions are being raised to the administration. Central SP Diksha has appealed to the people to maintain peace and has assured action against the culprits. Heavy police force has been deployed in the areas around the school so that law and order is maintained.
Regarding the incident, the teachers of the school told that smoke was coming out of the bathroom. There was also a foul smell. When the teachers reached there, they saw that the door was locked from inside. Somehow the door was broken. The student was burnt, although she was breathing. After this, she was admitted to the hospital in a hurry.
On the other hand, as soon as the information of the incident was received, a crowd of local people gathered. People accused the school administration of negligence and started creating a ruckus. The situation became very serious. According to the information, the brother of the victim also studies in the seventh class in the same school. He said that when he saw the bag in the hands of the police, he came to know that his sister was burnt.
When the Gardnibagh police station in-charge and the policemen reached on the information, the anger of the people flared up further. People beat up the inspector. People broke the table and chairs of the school. Not only this, they also tried to set fire, although some people stopped them from doing so.
