There is no proper waste disposal system in the Bbhojpur district. In addition, garbage from the municipal corporation's vehicles is also being dumped in the area. About a week ago, more than a hundred garbage-laden trucks from the municipal corporation arrived at night. The trucks started dumping the garbage in a field belonging to a farmer from, near the roads. When the villagers found out, they protested, but the trucks dumped the garbage and left. The people in the surrounding villages were already troubled by the foul smell emanating from the garbage. On Saturday evening, the pile of garbage was suddenly set on fire. As the fire gradually spread, thick smoke rose and began to spread to the surrounding areas. The smoke from the garbage has created significant problems for the elderly, sick, and children living in the areas. Sanjay Singh, Ram Singh, Ashok Kumar, JP Pandey, Satish Yadav, Rajbali Yadav, and others said that the municipal corporation's garbage is being dumped near residential areas. This has made it difficult for people to live. On top of that, the garbage pile has now been set on fire. The smoke emanating from it is very toxic and is causing breathing difficulties for people. Complaints have been lodged with the Tehsil and Nagar Panchayat officials, but even after two days, no responsible official has come to investigate. Sub-Divisional Magistrate said that an investigation will be conducted to find out who dumped the garbage. Instructions have been given to extinguish the fire.
