FORMER CM LALU PRASAD REACHED GAYAJI TO PERFORM PINDDAN

PATNA--------------------------Former Bihar CM and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav reached the famous Vishnupad temple in Gaya on Tuesday and performed Pind Daan and Tarpan for his ancestors. RJD President Tejashwi Yadav and his wife Raj Shri were also present with him.

The district administration made tight security arrangements in and around the temple premises in view of Lalu Prasad Yadav's arrival. The former CM and his family performed special worship in the sanctum sanctorum of the Vishnupad temple. After this, Lalu Prasad Yadav performed Pind Daan and Tarpan to wish for the salvation and salvation of the ancestors.

Gayapal Tirtha priest Shambhu said that this is Lalu Prasad Yadav's second time to perform Pind Daan for the ancestors. Earlier, when he was the Railway Minister, he had also performed Tarpan and Pind Daan for his ancestors.

Special arrangements were made during the Pitru Paksha fair in the Vishnupad temple premises. According to religious texts, all the dead ancestors wait for their descendants and sons in the Mahalaya Yoga of Pitru Paksha. This is the reason that during this period, lakhs of Hindu Sanatan Dharma followers from the country and abroad come to Vishnupad temple to perform Pinddaan, Tarpan and Shradh rituals.

The arrival of the former CM further increased the crowd of devotees in the temple premises. The devotees performed Pinddaan and Tarpan along with special worship for their ancestors. This religious ritual of Lalu family in Pitru Paksha Mela is being considered a symbol of devotion and family tradition.
