ARA-----------------------------At the CPI-ML city office, Kranti Park, in Ara, East Nawada, tributes were paid to former CPI-ML General Secretary Comrade Subrata Dutt alias Johar and his fellow martyrs, Dr. Nirmal and Comrade Rajendra Prasad alias Ratan, on their 50th martyrdom anniversary.

The tribute meeting was conducted by City Secretary Sudhir Singh. During the tribute meeting, tributes were paid to their portraits by garlanding them and observing a two-minute silence.

At the tribute meeting, CPI-ML District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam stated that former CPI-ML General Secretary Comrade Subrata Dutt alias Johar played a significant role in reorganizing the party after the suppression of the CPI-ML movement in Naxalbari. It is because of the contributions of these visionary leaders that today, in India's current circumstances, the CPI-ML is seen fulfilling the responsibility of a revolutionary opposition against the capitalists and the dictatorial government.

He said that Comrades Johar, Nirmal, and Ratan have been role models for this fight. It is through their inspiration that the CPI-ML plays its role today, defending the Constitution and democracy and leading the struggle against capitalism and fascism.

CPI-ML City Secretary Sudhir said that Comrades Johar, Nirmal, and Ratan were engaged in organizing the farmers' movement during the repression of 1974. They were murdered by the police in 1975.

He said that today the country is going through an even greater period of turmoil. At such a time, we must use all our strength to organize under the red flag and advance the struggle against our country's communal, fascist government. We must further strengthen the movement of farmers, workers, students, youth, and women against Modi and unite a large group of people.

The main people present at the condolence meeting were CPIML State Committee Chairman Qayamuddin Ansari, Insaf Manch leader Ajay Gandhi, AICCTU leader Balmukund Chaudhary, INAUS District President Niranjan Kesari, Area Secretary Randhir Rana, City Committee members Milton Ji, Rajendra Yadav, Santvilas Ram, Roshan Kushwaha, Kalavati Devi, Bablu Gupta, Raju Prasad, Anil Verma, Rahul Gupta, Ajay Kumar, Ritesh Kumar etc.
