ARA---------------------------An FIR has been lodged in the case of assault between workers on Thursday afternoon at the Congress office located at Shaheed Bhawan in Nawada police station area of Ara city, in which five people including former chief have been named and other unknown people have been made accused.
In the FIR lodged on the statement of injured Congress worker Sunil Kumar Singh, it has been said that on Thursday he had gone to the Congress office to welcome Bihar Congress Party co-state in-charge Devendra Yadav. There was sloganeering during the welcome there.
After the sloganeering, former chief cum Congress worker Upendra Kumar Singh, his two sons Karna Singh, Chhotu Singh, Keshav Prasad Singh's son Raja Singh, Umesh Singh's son Deepak Kumar Singh and others pulled him and hit him with an iron rod. Due to which he was seriously injured. He was brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Let us tell you that on Thursday afternoon, there was an altercation between Congress workers Upendra Kumar Singh and Sunil Kumar Singh in the Congress office located at Shaheed Bhawan regarding the dispute that arose during sloganeering. After which Sunil Kumar Singh was beaten up badly by Upendra Kumar Singh and his supporters. The video of which also went viral on social media.
