FIR AGAINST 7 INCLUDING WARD MEMBER IN CHAUKIPUR FIRING

ARA------------------------An FIR has been lodged in the case of a youth being shot and injured in a garden located in Chaukipur village under Gajrajganj OP of Bhojpur on Monday afternoon. Seven people including ward member have been named on the statement of injured Vishnu Kumar. Police network took action and arrested one named person.

In the FIR lodged, Vishnu Kumar has told that on Monday morning at around 9:15, near Paswan Chowk transformer, Anil Kumar Paswan, son of Sanjay Paswan, a resident of his village, was going to the garage with his tempo. In the process, his tempo collided with ward member Ravish Paswan, son of Janardan Paswan, a resident of the same village and Anand Paswan, son of late Jagjivan Paswan. Due to which both of them started abusing Anil Paswan while slapping him.

On receiving the information, he and Amarnath Kumar Paswan of his village went there and convinced both the parties and ended the fight. After about two-three hours, Anand Paswan, Raviranjan Kumar Paswan, his brother Ravi Kishan Paswan, Khira Paswan, Nepali Paswan alias Abhinandan, Rohit Paswan and Nandan Paswan, residents of Chaukipur village, came near his and Anil Kumar Paswan's house. Where Raviranjan Paswan came with a pistol in his hand and started abusing and threatening and beating everyone.

Meanwhile, Ravi Ranjan Paswan started firing in the air with the pistol in his hand. After this, with the intention of killing him, he shot him on the neck with the pistol. Due to which he got injured and fell down. After this, the villagers of the village brought him to a private hospital in Ara for treatment.

Gajrajganj OP in-charge Hari Prasad Sharma said that after registering the FIR, taking immediate action, Nepali Paswan alias Abhinandan, son of Shyam Jeevan Paswan, resident of Chaukipur village, was arrested. Raids are being conducted continuously to arrest other accused.
