FINAL MATCH OF INTER-DIVISONAL CRICKET BOYS UNDER 17 ORGANIZED

ARA----------------------------The final match of the State Level School Inter-Divisional Cricket Boys Under-17 Tournament 2025-26, organized jointly by the Bihar State Sports Authority, the Sports Department, and the Bhojpur District Administration, was played today at Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium between Magadh Division and Bhagalpur Division. Magadh Division captain Pawan won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Magadh Division scored 135 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in the stipulated 25 overs. For Magadh, Simant scored 0 runs, Aman 3 runs, Himanshu 12, Pawan 52, and Dilkhush 19 runs. For Bhagalpur Division, Anurag took three wickets, while Keshav, Yakub, and Shashwat took two wickets each. Chasing the target, Bhagalpur Division easily achieved the target with the loss of three wickets. For Bhagalpur Division, Sahil scored 20 runs, Ritik 24 runs, and Shashwat played an unbeaten innings of 54 runs. For Magadh Division, Nishant, Nandan, and Saurabh took one wicket each. Bhagalpur Division won the match by seven wickets. The on-field umpires were Subhit Kumar Singh and Sunny Kumar Verma, the 3rd umpire was Tayyab Hussain, the 4th umpire was Ved Prakash, the match referee was Ravi Kumar, the scorers were Ratnesh Nandan and Kundan Kumar, the team liaison was Kumar Vijay, and the video analyst was Rajiv Kumar Singh. All the winning and runner-up players were honored with cups and medals by District Sports Officer Alok Kumar Gautam, Art and Culture Officer Anupriya Kumari, and Chandan Prabhakar, DPO Education Department. During the match, Dhananjay Kumar, Shailendra Dixit, and Sanjay Kumar were the selectors. The players selected from this tournament will participate in the National Cricket Tournament to be held in Telangana. Former secretary of the Bhojpur District Cricket Association, Vinit Rai, former president of the Bhojpur District Cricket Association, Manoj Pandey, Rahul Singh, Shiv Narayan Pal, Krishna Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Neeraj Kumar Singh, Rajiv, and Dilip Kumar, along with other sports enthusiasts from Bhojpur district, were present on the stage.
