FERTILIZER BLACKMARKETING TO BE INVESTIGATED DAILY-DM

SASARAM--------------------------The Kharif 2025 production program is underway. District Magistrate Udita Singh has directed enforcement of a zero-tolerance policy against fertilizer black marketing. The District Agriculture Control Room was previously established to effectively implement departmental schemes for farmers, to prevent fertilizer black marketing, profiteering, and ensure fertilizer distribution at the prescribed rates, and to address complaints received from the public and farmers. This has been partially modified and some officers and staff have been deputed.

The control room's helpline number for fertilizer-related complaints is 9471458498. Instructions have been given to promptly resolve issues received on the helpline. A directive has also been issued to conduct daily inspections and raids of fertilizer shops in all blocks. For this purpose, some officers have been deputed to the District Control Room. Assistant Director (Crops) Seed Production cum Marketing Officer, Rohtas Ravikant Kumar has been authorized on helpline number 9835285971, who will be the officer in charge of the control room. Clerk District Agriculture Officer, Rohtas Mo Tanveer Alam has been authorized on helpline number 7979071893, who will be the assistant staff of the control room. Agriculture Coordinator District Agriculture Office Arun Prakash and Clerk District Agriculture Office Abhay Kumar have been deputed on helpline number 9471458498 every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Whereas Agriculture Coordinator District Agriculture Office Raju Kumar and Clerk, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Office Sasaram Aman Priyadarshi have been deputed on every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
