FARMER BEATEN TO DEATH IN BHOJPUR

ARA--------------------------A farmer was beaten to death with sticks in a previous dispute near Shivpur Durga Sthan in Dhangai police station area of Bhojpur district on Saturday evening. He died in the emergency ward of Sadar Hospital during treatment. A wound mark was found on the right side of the stomach of the deceased. During the fight, the right hand and right and left leg of the deceased were broken. There was chaos among the people for a long time regarding the incident.

According to the information, the deceased is Jai Prakash Yadav, 55-year-old son of late Jhagdu Yadav, resident of Araila village ward number-9 of Teer police station area. He was a farmer. Here, the deceased's son Amarnath Yadav told that he had married his sister Ritu Devi to Ravindra Singh Yadav, resident of Shivpur village of Dhangai police station area in the year 2007. After a few years of marriage, her brother-in-law Raju Singh Yadav used to fight with her over property division.

He used to beat her daughter Ritu Devi and harass her regularly. She told that a year ago, in her sister's in-laws' house in Shivpuri, there was a fight between her brother-in-law Ravindra Singh Yadav's elder brother Raju Singh Yadav over property division. At that time, she and her father had gone to her in-laws' house to make a compromise. During this, her father was beaten up. An FIR was also registered regarding this. However, the case was settled.

On Saturday, her father had gone from his village to Jagdishpur Chhena to escape. After escaping Chhena, on Saturday evening, when he was returning to the village by auto, six people came near Shivpuri Durga Sthan and forcibly got him down from the auto and beat him fiercely with sticks. Due to which he got seriously injured.

On receiving the information, the family reached there and brought him from Jagdishpur sub-divisional hospital to Sadar hospital for treatment. Where he died during treatment. The family informed the local police station about this. On receiving the information, the local police station reached the Sadar Hospital and got the post-mortem of the body done.

On the other hand, the deceased's son Amarnath Yadav has accused his sister's brother-in-law Raju Singh Yadav and five other people with him of killing him by beating him with sticks and iron rods over a dispute that happened a year ago. However, the police is investigating the matter at its own level.

It is said that the deceased's family consists of his wife Sona Devi, three sons Amarnath Yadav, Somnath Yadav, Vishwanath Yadav and two daughters Sandhya Devi and Ritu Devi. After the incident, there was an uproar in the deceased's house. His wife Sona Devi and all the family members are in a bad state due to crying.
