PATNA--------------------------Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) ADG Nayyar Hasnain Khan's team is taking a strong action against corruption. Big fish involved in corruption are being caught, this has created fear among the corrupt and EOU's action has created panic. On the policy of zero tolerance being run by the government against corruption, EOU has raided four locations of Bhagalpur's Registrar Vinay Saurabh on Friday. The search operation is on till the time of writing the news. This includes Registrar Vinay Saurabh's ancestral home Senuar, Police Station Shiv Sagar District Aurangabad, residence Abhinav Enclave located in Bhagalpur, Police Station Barari District Bhagalpur, residence Panorama City located in Purnia, Bypass Road, Police Station Sadar District Purnia and District Registration Office Cell located in Bhagalpur.

Registrar Vinay Saurabh has acquired immense wealth by indulging in corruption during his short service period. EOU has recovered many land documents, gold and silver jewellery, investments in banks and lakhs of rupees in cash from Vinay Saurabh's places. EOU has found evidence of assets worth Rs. 2 crore 70 lakh 78 thousand from Registrar Vinay Saurabh's places which is 188% more than his income. EOU is trying to find out who else is involved with Vinay Saurabh, accused of corruption. It is believed that many more people associated with Vinay Saurabh will be exposed.

It is known that two days ago, EOU had raided many places of Anubhuti Srivastava, Executive Officer of Nagar Vikas Seva posted in Siwan, and recovered gold and silver jewellery, land and houses from Bihar to UP and cash. Anubhuti Srivastava's influence can be considered as in the past also EOU had filed a case of corruption worth crores and after being suspended for a long time, she was again posted in Siwan. As soon as EOU came to know about Anubhuti Srivastava's deeds and the EOU team raided, disproportionate assets were found.
