BHABHUA-------------------------In Sonvarsha village of Belaun police station area under the block, Bihar government's land was freed from encroachment by JCB. This action was taken by CO Anu Kumari on the instructions of Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redressal. Giving information about this, CO Anu Kumari said that 19 encroachers of the village had encroached on the land of Bihar government and built kutcha and pucca houses. To free this site from encroachment, Dayashankar Singh of the village had applied to Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redressal. After hearing the application, the said office gave instructions to remove encroachment from the land of Bihar government. In light of the instructions, on April 17, the encroachers were sent notices and asked to vacate the site. Even after this, the encroachers did not vacate the site. In light of which, on Thursday, the said house was demolished by running a JCB. The cost incurred in removing the encroachment will be recovered from the encroachers. The CO also said that out of the 19 encroachers, 6 are landless. On the other hand, Singhasan Pandey has brought a stay order from the High Court. Therefore, the houses of these 7 encroachers have not been demolished. The encroachment was removed by demolishing the houses of the remaining encroachers Bhagwan Pandey, Baliram Pandey, Shambhu Pandey, Pradeep Pandey, Lakshmi Pandey, Uma Pandey, Uday Pandey, Kameshwar Pandey, Shesh Nath Pandey, Manoj Pandey etc. On the spot, employee Vivek Kumar, Belav police station in-charge Anish Kumar, inspector Mukesh Kumar, Firoz along with a large number of male and female soldiers and soldiers from the police line were present.
