PATNA-------------------------Bihar Education Department has tightened the rules on the attendance and activities of teachers in government schools. The department has ordered that now schools will have to send pictures of consciousness sessions, mid-day meals, science and ICT lab classes as well as group photos of teachers to the department. Additional Chief Secretary Dr. S Siddharth has instructed all the district education officials that whenever the Command and Control Center asks for photos, the school should provide them immediately. In fact, the education department was constantly receiving complaints that many teachers just register their attendance and then go missing from school. For this reason, the department has now made the monitoring more stringent. Let us tell you, a complaint was made by the villagers. After which the truth of this trickery of the teachers came out. It was told in the complaint that sometimes the teachers would come at 12 o'clock, sometimes the relatives would get the Hazari made.

A shocking complaint has come from High School cum Inter College, Nikhati Kalan, located in Raghunathpur, Siwan. A villager told the department on the condition of anonymity that the teacher working here, Geetanjali, often comes late to school. Sometimes she comes at 11 am, sometimes at 12 noon and returns at 2 pm. The villager alleges that the teacher has kept her mobile at the house of one of her close relatives (which is 500 meters away from the school). Her online attendance is taken from there, while the teacher herself was not present in the school.

Attendance of many days was recorded in the same background. Clothes used to change in the morning and evening photos. Even a man's photo has been recorded during attendance. The location always shows a distance of more than 400 meters.

On the basis of investigation, it was found that when the headmaster objected to this, according to the villager, the teacher and her relatives even threatened to kill him. The complainant has also said that the BRC and district level officers are aware of the entire matter, but no action is being taken due to the teacher's domineering relatives. This is the reason why she has requested the department for confidential action.

Taking this matter seriously, the Additional Chief Secretary has made it clear that if these complaints are confirmed, strict action will be taken against the concerned teachers. The headmaster will also be informed about this.
