EC SENT NOTICE TO TEJASHWI IN TWO VOTER ID CARDS CASE

PATNA----------------------Troubles of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav have increased. The Election Commission has issued a notice and sought a reply on the allegations of having two voter ID cards (Tejashwi Dual EPIC Case). The Electoral Registration Officer of Digha constituency has sent a letter to Tejashwi seeking full details of the EPIC number shared by him.

Tejashwi Yadav had claimed in a press conference on Saturday that his name has been removed from the voter list (Tejashwi Dual EPIC Case) and he had made his EPIC number RAB2916120 public but the Commission's investigation found that this number is not present in the voter list.

On the contrary, the Election Commission showed Tejashwi's name at serial number-416 in the voter list with proof, whose EPIC number is RAB0456228. This number is also recorded in the voter list of the year 2015. After this, Tejashwi Yadav has been accused of having two EPIC numbers (Tejashwi Dual EPIC Case). BJP and JDU have called it an election crime and have demanded clarification from Tejashwi. The Election Commission has now formally sought clarification from Tejashwi in this matter and further investigation has been started.
