According to local residents, the unrestricted entry of heavy vehicles into the city despite the no-entry restrictions has become commonplace. The negligence of the traffic police and the indifference of the officers on duty are constantly being questioned. Many people also allege that the Traffic DSP doesn't even bother to answer calls regarding complaints.
The incident has once again highlighted the deteriorating traffic situation in Sasaram. People have demanded an immediate review and strict action.
