DRAGON SWING AT A FAIR BROKE ON RAKSHABANDHAN DAY, ONE GIRL DIED

A tragic accident took place on Rakshabandhan day in Jagdishpur of Ara district of Bihar, which shook the whole area. A train swing suddenly broke on Sunday evening at the Disneyland fair held in the playground of Sant Barhana Women's College in Jagdishpur town. A 14-year-old girl died in this accident, while three others were seriously injured.

ARA (RNI) A tragic accident took place on Rakshabandhan day in Jagdishpur of Ara district of Bihar, which shook the whole area. A train swing suddenly broke on Sunday evening at the Disneyland fair held in the playground of Sant Barhana Women's College in Jagdishpur town. A 14-year-old girl died in this accident, while three others were seriously injured.

The deceased girl has been identified as Naina Kumari, who was the daughter of Manu Nayak, resident of Ward No. 05, Khaptahar Natpuri. The injured include Reema Kumari (daughter of Shiv Shankar Nayak) and Tinkle Kumari (daughter of Tinku Nayak), while the third injured could not be identified till the time of writing the news.

According to eyewitnesses, Naina had gone to visit the fair with her family on the evening of Rakshabandhan. Due to the high speed of the train swing, one of its coaches broke and fell down. In this accident that happened with a loud bang, many people including Naina fell down from the swing. Immediately after the accident, there was chaos and people rushed to take the injured to the hospital.

All the injured were immediately brought to Jagdishpur Referral Hospital, but the seriously injured Naina died during treatment. The deceased's father Manu Nayak made serious allegations against the hospital management and said that his daughter died due to delay in treatment. He claims that no doctor or staff was present in the hospital for hours after the accident.

Here, after the accident, the fair operators and employees fled from the spot. The angry people present in the hospital created a ruckus over the negligence in treatment.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem and started investigating the case. Police say that strict action will be taken against the culprits. This incident turned the happiness of Rakshabandhan into mourning and a wave of grief ran across the area.
