DRAFT VOTER LIST RELEASED IN BIHAR: EC
After successful completion of the first phase (counting phase) of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2025 in Bihar by the Election Commission, the draft voter list has been published today on August 1, 2025. This list is available on the online portal https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-eroll?stateCode=S04, along with this, all the 38 DMs of Bihar have also shared the draft voter list of all 90,712 booths of all 243 assembly constituencies with all the political parties today on August 1.

PATNA------------------------After successful completion of the first phase (counting phase) of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2025 in Bihar by the Election Commission, the draft voter list has been published today on August 1, 2025. This list is available on the online portal https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-eroll?stateCode=S04, along with this, all the 38 DMs of Bihar have also shared the draft voter list of all 90,712 booths of all 243 assembly constituencies with all the political parties today on August 1.
In an effort to reach every village, every ward, every house and to add the name of every eligible voter to the voter list, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Bihar, District Electoral Officers (DEOs) of all 38 districts, 243 Electoral Enrolment Officers (EROs), 2,976 Assistant Electoral Enrolment Officers (AEROs), BLOs deployed at 90,712 polling stations, lakhs of volunteers and 1.6 lakh Booth Level Agents (BLAs) nominated by the district presidents of all 12 political parties discharged their arduous responsibility.
Over 7.24 crore voters of Bihar filled the enumeration form; all included in the voter list, this is an unprecedented participation.
During this period, any voter or political party can apply before the concerned ERO (Electoral Registration Officer) to add the names of eligible voters and remove the names of ineligible voters.
The Election Commission appealed to all eligible voters to check their names in the list, and if the name is not there, then fill and submit the declaration form along with Form-6 to get their name added.
Young voters, who have turned 18 years of age by 1 July or 1 October 2025, should also get their names registered in the voter list by filling Form-6.
According to SIR, before removing any name from the draft list, the concerned ERO/AERO will have to issue written orders after giving an opportunity of hearing on which the DM and CEO will be able to hear the appeal.
