PATNA-------------------------On the occasion of the fourth death anniversary of eminent litterateur Dr Bhagwati Sharan Mishra, "Smriti Tarpan Mahotsav" was organized under the aegis of Bhail Bihaan Sanstha. The topic of the program was a complete discussion of the literary practice of Dr Bhagwati Sharan Mishra. The program was presided over by Sanjay Gandhi College President Harikrishna Upadhyay. The chief guest was Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan President Dr Anil Sulabh, special guest was Hindi Sahitya Sammelan's Literature Minister Dr Bhagwati Prasad Dwivedi. The main speakers were Dr Shivnarayan Ji, Hindi Department Head of Arvind Mahila College, Patna and Dr Jang Bahadur Pandey, former Hindi Department Head of Ranchi University.
The program started with all the guests lighting the lamp. After which everyone paid tribute by offering flowers on the picture of Dr Bhagwati Sharan Mishra.
On this occasion, the organizer and welcome chairman, senior poet Dr Janardan Mishra honored all the guests by garlanding them and giving them angavastra.
Inaugurator Dr Anil Sulabh said that Dr Bhagwati Sharan Mishra ji's personality was multi-faceted and very encouraging for the common people. Despite being an administrative officer, he maintained a deep connection with literature. Special guest Dr Bhagwati Prasad Dwivedi discussed his life story and mentioned his works. Introducing the topic, Dr Jang Bahadur Pandey said that Mishra ji was a lecturer of economics, then joined the administrative service and then started serving literature. His literary pursuit gave us many published books. Chief speaker Dr Shivnarayan ji said that I have spent many moments in his company. His life was spent in struggles. He loved this city very much. His works brought about a new awakening. I kept learning something in every moment spent in his company. Professor Baliraj Thakur said that a seeker of writing becomes immortal. We all want to read the books written by him. Dr Satyanarayan Upadhyay said that this event is not only to pay tribute to him but also to inspire all those engaged in the service of literature. Senior poet Janardan Mishra said that the personality and work of our respected father is a blessing for all of us. I also started writing after imbibing his qualities. Whatever we have achieved in life is his blessing. While giving the vote of thanks, Professor Nandji Dubey said that we have respected listeners, who encourage us. He thanked all the guests for coming to the program and making it successful. Meanwhile, young Ghazal singer and Angika film actor Avinash Bandhu, who came as a special guest, presented his compositions and delighted everyone. On this occasion, poetess Dr. Renu Mishra, Dr. Mamta Mishra, poet Janmejaya Ojha, Madheshwar Pandey, Jayamangal Mishra and Deepak Singh Nikumbh also recited their compositions.
The program was conducted by poet Rakesh Guddu Ojha and journalist Rupendra Mishra. Madhu Mishra from the two organizers played an important role in making the program successful. Senior poet Omprakash Mishra, Nathuni Pandey, Krishna Yadav Krishnaendu, Poonam Singh, Sanjay Gandhi's principal Kumari Vandana, Kanchan Kamini, Shalini Ojha, Sudha Pandey, Manoj Ojha, Ajay Kumar, Bharat Singh associate, Narendra Singh, Khushi Kumari and many others were present in the program
