ARA-------------------------On the death anniversary of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, a prominent socialist thinker, he was remembered with reverence by grateful people. On this occasion, numerous socialist leaders and activists gathered to garland the life-size statue of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia at Lohia Chowk in Piro town. After paying tribute to Dr. Lohia by garlanding his statue, in their addresses, JDU State Vice President of the Extremely Backward Classes Cell, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Singh, JDU leader Bhola Shankar Pal, retired teacher Rajendra Singh, JDU Piro City President Amit Kumar Verma, Brij Bahadur Gopal, Dadan Yadav, RJD leader Chandeshwar Singh, former District Councilor Pramod Kumar Singh, Sanjay Yadav, Mo Meraj Khan, and Madan Singh all stated that Dr. Lohia was a proponent of social and economic equality. He wanted to establish an egalitarian social system where everyone would have equal rights. He was a true humanitarian. He believed that enslaving one person to another was against humanity. He never rode a rickshaw. His belief was that carrying the burden of another was unfair from a human perspective. People said that Dr. Lohia's ideas are still completely relevant today.
