ARA--------------------------A progress review meeting of the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Urban Development Scheme was held on Thursday in the NIC video conference room at the Collectorate, chaired by Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania.

A progress review meeting of the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Urban Development Scheme was held on Thursday in the NIC video conference room at the Collectorate, chaired by Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania. During the meeting, the District Magistrate issued several important directives for the orderly development of urban areas.

He specifically directed the effective implementation of the encroachment removal program, the immediate identification of suitable sites for vending zones, and the rapid progress of the MRF (Material Recovery Facility) and Samrat Ashok Bhawan construction work.

In addition, the District Magistrate directed the Executive Engineer, BUIDCO, to immediately commence the renovation work of the Collectorate pond. Besides, instructions were also given to take necessary steps to complete the 21 schemes listed for the year 2025-26 within the stipulated time frame.

Important instructions were also given towards waste management. All the executive officers were instructed to ensure proper arrangements for waste disposal by developing dumping yards in their respective areas. Deputy Development Commissioner Gunjan Singh, Municipal Commissioner, In-charge Officer District Development Branch, Executive Engineer Budko and all the Executive Officers of Nagar Panchayat and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
