DM INSPECTED DISPATCH CENTRE AT JAGDISHPUR

ARA-----------------------------District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate Bhojpur Tanay Sultania inspected the proposed dispatch center, Polytechnic College, Kakeela for 197-Jagdishpur Assembly Constituency in the course of preparation for the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly General Election 2025. During the inspection, necessary guidelines were given to the Returning Officer-cum-Sub-Divisional Officer, Jagdishpur and the concerned Assistant Returning Officers of Jagdishpur Assembly Constituency. The District Magistrate clearly directed that all the necessary preparations related to the dispatch of polling parties and EVM receiving should be ensured in a timely manner and with full responsibility. He also specifically said that the dispatch of polling personnel, parking of vehicles, control room arrangements and all other arrangements at the dispatch center should be done in a systematic and timely manner, so that the election work can be completed smoothly. Executive Engineer, Building Division Ara was directed to immediately prepare a temporary strong room for the safe maintenance of EVMs/VVPATs at the dispatch center. Also, necessary guidelines were given to Nodal Officer, Strong Room Cell-cum-Senior Treasury Officer, Bhojpur to ensure the construction of the strong room under his supervision. Apart from this, instructions were also given to the concerned officers to ensure proper arrangements for electricity, drinking water, toilets etc. at the dispatch center as soon as possible.

During the inspection, Returning Officer 197-Jagdishpur Assembly Constituency-cum-Sub-Divisional Officer, Jagdishpur; Nodal Officer, Strong Room Cell-cum-Senior Treasury Officer, Bhojpur; Junior Election Officer, Jagdishpur; Executive Engineer, Building Division; Executive Engineer Electricity; Executive Engineer PHED, Bhojpur; All Assistant Returning Officers and other related officers/workers were present.
