ARA-----------------------------Today in the general meeting of the District Council, there was a commotion in the House over the demand of District Councilor Meena Kumari of Sahar-East to construct the four kilometer long Baruna-Nanaur road in the very dilapidated condition of Agiaon block and to repair and expand the anti-erosion work done earlier from Abgila located at Sahar headquarters of Sahar block. On which the Zilla Parishad President Asha Devi along with Chief Executive Officer cum Deputy Development Commissioner Gunjan Singh assured the Zilla Parishad member Meena Kumari that your demands are valid and work will definitely be done on them. Let us tell you that on August 18, the Ara-Arwal road was blocked for about 15 hours under the leadership of Jansuraj Party's provincial leader Ghanshyam Rai, demanding the construction of Baruna-Nanaur road, and the movement was started by accusing the state government of insensitivity. After that, the district administration started losing its ground and only then at 10 PM, under the guidance of ASP, the police administration got the jam cleared.
