DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION SHOULD ARRANGE FOR BONEFIRES IN VIEW OF SEVERE COLD: DILRAJ PRITAM

ARA---------------------------CPI-ML District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam issued a press statement demanding that the district administration immediately arrange for bonfires at every intersection and in poor localities, and distribute blankets to the poor.  CPI-ML leader Dilraj Pritam further stated that the intense cold is increasing and will continue, which will create significant difficulties for the poor. The cold will make it very difficult for them to earn their livelihood through hard labor. The continuously increasing severe cold poses a threat to the lives and property of the poor. In such a situation, the district administration should immediately make alternative arrangements to protect them from the cold so that the poor can get some relief. Poor people from all over the district come to Ara city to earn a living by driving rickshaws and carts and doing manual labor. Therefore, bonfires should be arranged at every intersection in the city, and blankets should be distributed among these poor people so that their lives can be saved!
