Deputy Inspector General of Police Shahabad Satya Prakash inspected the cyber police station on Tuesday. During this, Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police cum Cyber Sahajanand other police officers were present. During the inspection, special emphasis was laid on the speedy execution of pending cases and scientific collection of digital evidence.

ARA-------------------------Deputy Inspector General of Police Shahabad Satya Prakash inspected the cyber police station on Tuesday. During this, Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police cum Cyber Sahajanand other police officers were present. During the inspection, special emphasis was laid on the speedy execution of pending cases and scientific collection of digital evidence.
Along with this, necessary guidelines were provided to adopt a concrete strategy and take effective action for the cases registered on the NCRB portal, cases related to social media and arrest of cyber criminals. Emphasis was laid on taking prompt action with sensitivity especially in cases related to women and children.
Along with this, necessary suggestions were given to the citizens to avoid cyber crimes (such as phishing, OTP fraud, social media bullying, digital arrest etc.), not to share passwords, not to click on suspicious links, keep bank details confidential and keep social media accounts safe.
The public was also informed that in case of any kind of cyber fraud, immediately register a complaint on the NCRB portal or call the toll-free number-1930.
