PATNA-------------------------The Election Commission's meeting with the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Bihar regarding the Bihar Assembly elections will be held in Delhi on September 10. According to the information, the Election Commission has decided to hold a review meeting with the Chief Electoral Officers of all the states in Delhi on that day.

The Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar will also attend it. It will also discuss the action taken regarding the special intensive revision of the voter list in Bihar.

This meeting will also be special regarding the Bihar Assembly elections. This year elections are to be held only in Bihar. Preparations are underway for the final publication of the voter list here. Whereas, elections are to be held in other states including West Bengal next year as well. In this meeting, all the preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections will be closely reviewed by the Election Commission. It is known that the voter list and polling stations have been revised in the state. After this, there is a possibility of discussion on various agendas including deployment of security forces in the state for voting, phases of voting.

Two air ambulances will be deployed in the assembly elections to be held in Bihar. During the elections, strict security arrangements will be made in all 243 seats of the state. Under this, security forces will be deployed at all 90,712 booths in the state. Also, preparations will be made to deal with any untoward incident at those booths. In case of election violence, Naxalite violence or any untoward incident, the injured will be immediately taken to the hospital for treatment with the help of air ambulance.

For this, air ambulance will be arranged by the Health Department in the elections. Sources in the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) office of Bihar said that like the previous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, this time too two air ambulances will be deployed. So that the challenges of any crisis can be dealt with. Through air ambulances, injured or sick polling and security personnel will be taken from rural areas to big hospitals for better treatment. To deal with the emergency, one air ambulance will be deployed in Patna and one in any one district of the election area.
