BUXAR--------------------------The education department of Buxar, which is often in the news for fake teachers, intimidation of teachers, financial extortion etc., is troubled by two bullies these days.

Not only are the departmental officers troubled by the said bullies, but for a long time, they are being discussed from the department to the squares and intersections of the city. The officers and employees working here allege that two outsiders are making the work tense by constantly visiting. One of them is also the authorized aide of local MP Sudhakar Singh.

The District Education Officer (DEO) has sent a detailed letter to the District Officer (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) demanding immediate legal action against this 'unnecessary interference'. It is alleged that both the named persons not only sit in the office for hours, but also slow down the speed of files by creating pressure on the pretext of talks. This letter of the DEO has given evidence that many works are being done in the education department under the pressure of the bullies. However, now after the departmental officials have opened their mouths, it remains to be seen what steps are being taken by the administration.

The names of two persons are clearly mentioned in the DEO's letter, including Ajay Kumar Singh, father late Bageshwari Singh, resident KatharMpolice station Krishnabrahma and Arvind Kumar Singh, father late Anand Bahadur Singh, resident Dhobi Ghat Gali No. 07, police station Buxar Nagar.

Regarding the second named Arvind Kumar Singh, the DEO said that he is an associate of MP Sudhakar Singh. The MP had formally informed the DEO about this through letter number Buxar/138 on 28 December 2024.

This controversy has not arisen suddenly. The Education Department has also sent a report against both of them to the Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Patna on 6 December 2023. The report alleged that both of them repeatedly obstruct departmental work and put pressure on the officers.

After this, the Director (Administration-cum-Secretary) of the Department handed over the investigation to the Regional Deputy Director of Education, Patna Division. After the allegations were confirmed in the investigation, clear instructions were given that now the district administration should take necessary legal action.

In the latest complaint, the DEO has sent copies of CCTV footage installed in the office premises as evidence. It has also been alleged that both the accused are of criminal nature and several cases are registered against them in various police stations of the district.

The DEO says that these people are currently on bail, so it has also been recommended to cancel their bail. Copies of these FIRs and supervision reports have also been sent along with the letter. -- The confidential branch has already given a warning

The district confidential branch is keeping a close watch on this matter. On 28 February 2025, the Special Officer had sent a letter to the SDM and DSP of Buxar and directed them to provide the investigation report.

It was clarified in the letter that action is necessary under the order (letter no. 107, dated 07.02.2025) issued by the Director Secretary, Education Department, Bihar, Patna. The confidential branch was of the opinion that such interference is affecting the efficiency of the office and it is imperative to take concrete steps in time.

Many employees of the office said on the condition of anonymity that it has become very difficult to do fair and timely work under such pressure. They say that if this environment continues, the efficiency of the department will be directly affected.

At the same time, an employee says that our work is not on paper, but is getting entangled in the web of pressure and pressure. In this situation, it is not easy to take any fair decision.

As soon as the letter of DEO became public, Mamata is once again in the headlines. Now the responsibility is completely on the district administration and police as to how quickly they take action against the accused. However, the stand of the education department is clear in this matter, till the legal action is not taken against these people, there will be tension in the office and work will be affected.

For now, the atmosphere of the district education office is no less than an administrative bricklayer. Fees, meetings, orders and complaints, all are revolving around the same axis, "Will the administration be able to tighten the noose of law on the MP's associate and his associate? Or will this case also remain buried in a thick pile of files, this is the question now echoing in the administrative corridors of Buxar. Arvind Singh and Ajay Singh spoke on the allegations made by the DEO, Arvind Singh presented his side that in which law is it written that a person cannot go to a government office. I have done the work of exposing the corruption in the office of DPO Shariq Ashraf. They keep harassing us mentally regarding that. In one such case, Shariq Ashraf got bail from the court two days ago. Shariq Ashraf has taken this decision during the daily charge. Which is against the rules. Four cases are going on against him in the District Public Grievances. We have got an order for the formation of Form A against Shariq Ashraf in the previous two cases. Do things according to their wishes. So everything is fine. They have made the payment without any agreement. The complaint regarding this is pending. The then DEO Amarendra Pandey had also sought clarification from them on this.
