DEMAND FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SPORT COMPLEX IN ARA

ARA-----------------------------On 18 June 2025, we presented the demand through a letter to the Sports Department of the Government of Bihar that a modern sports complex should be constructed in Bhojpur (Ara) district. This demand is not just for a structure, but a big initiative towards the future, health, confidence and career of thousands of youth of Bhojpur.

Bhojpur district is the land of Veer Kunwar Singh – this land has not only been historical and revolutionary, but it also has countless possibilities hidden in it. The youth here have immense interest in sports, but due to lack of resources, they are unable to take their talent forward. The district is severely lacking in the infrastructure, coaching and training required to become a good player.

Why is a modern sports complex necessary?

Promotion of sports talent: A modern sports complex will provide a proper platform to the youth interested in football, cricket, hockey, athletics, archery, wrestling etc., Health and social development: Sports is the foundation of a healthy society. The sports complex will help keep children and youth away from social evils like drug abuse, crime, and unemployment., Employment and training opportunities: Jobs will be created for coaches, ground staff, management, etc. Local youth will get employment opportunities., Pride of the state and nation: If national and international players emerge from Bhojpur, it will be a matter of pride not only for the district but also for Bihar and India.

Expectations of the youth of Bhojpur.

Our youth want to get the same opportunities that players get in big cities like Patna, Gaya, Darbhanga. If the government builds an international level sports complex in Bhojpur (Ara), then Olympic medalists, national team players and coaches can emerge from here too.

Sports is not just a hobby, but a career, a discipline and a lifestyle. Establishment of a sports complex in Bhojpur (Ara) will lead to overall social and mental development of this area.

We once again urge the government to take a quick decision on this demand to improve the future of the youth of Bhojpur district. A sports complex will not be just a building of bricks and cement, but will be the foundation of dreams.
