ARA--------------------------Social activist Akhilesh Prasad has demanded the construction of an approach road on the Birampur side for the bridge over the river between Bhakura and Birampur. He stated that the bridge, built many years ago at a cost of lakhs of rupees, remains unused due to the lack of an approach road. The construction of an approach road would have been a revolutionary change for many villages in Koilwar, Ara, and Barhara blocks. Transportation would have improved for people on both the east and west sides of the river. Students from the Bhakura side could easily travel to Birampur to study at the +2 High School. Birampur also has wholesale shops selling various goods, providing convenience to both the public and businesses. Vegetables produced in villages including Birampur, Jalpura, and Dumaria could be transported to Ara Gola easily and in a short time. Sadly, neither the government nor the public representatives of the area have taken this problem seriously. Currently, BJP MLA from Ara, Amarendra Pratap Singh, and BJP MLA from Barhara, Raghavendra Pratap Singh, have represented this area for several terms. They never paid attention to this issue. When MP Sudama Prasad visited Birampur village after winning the election, he was presented with an application to build an approach road to the bridge over the Bhakura River and a road directly from the bridge to the Birampur Sun Temple. However, no action was taken. Currently, in the midst of the Bihar Assembly elections, it is crucial to bring this issue to the attention of the government and public representatives so that the approach road may be built after the elections.
